Find and Delete Duplicate Files on Your Computer

There is no denying that your computer’s performance can be affected by the number and size of files or, inversely, free space on your hard drive. Surprisingly, though the size of files does factor into the equation, the number of files, no matter how small, has a significant impact on your system’s performance. Why?

To use a silly analogy, imagine a garage or warehouse with empty shelves and a clear floor. If I place a single item anywhere in that building and ask you to find it, it shouldn’t take you too long. Taking the analogy a bit further, if I fill the shelves with items but carefully organize them, though your search may take a bit longer, it should still be fairly expedient. Finally, if I were to haphazardly fill the shelves AND heap things all over the floor, there is a chance you may never find a particular item.

Luckily for us, our Operating System (Windows, MAC OS or Linux) does a fairly good job of maintaining an index of files but, as you can imagine, searching through an index of 700000 items versus 7000 just plain takes more time. Although disk space, or lack of, isn’t the only factor that contributes to a slower computer, it is a considerable one. Regular disk management can help a lot. Perform frequent Disk Cleaning (I use CCleaner) to remove temporary and deleted files. Also, disk defragmentation helps speed things up by improving where your files are stored physically on your hard drive.

One thing many of you might not be aware of, however, is how many duplicate files may be hiding on your hard drive – taking up space and contributing to the overall number of files slowing down your computer. So if your computer was once blazingly fast but is now slower than molasses, in addition to performing regular disk cleaning and defragmentation, maybe you need a duplicate files finder!

What is a Duplicate Files Finder and why do you need it?

There may be thousands of duplicate files currently residing on your hard drive. The problem, as I see it, is “how do you find them and how do you sort it all out?” Of course, you could always go about it manually performing individual name searches and deleting duplicate files as they pop up but I doubt any of you would have the time nor the inclination. And I should mention that not all duplicate files have the same name. It’s not inconceivable that you could have two or three copies of the same file (image, music, video or document) scattered on your computer, saved under different file names. How do you go about finding those?

Well, the answer, quite simply, is to use a duplicate files finder. There are dozens of decent software for the job though my personal favorite is Doublekiller by BigBang Enterprises. To find out more about available free software to help you clean duplicates from your computer, Google “duplicate files finder”.

How My Vet Helped Me Find Hot New Products to Sell on eBay

Today my vet mentioned the ‘F’ word ….. he’s foreign, Polish I think, and I’m not sure if the ‘F’ word is acceptable in his country ….. but it certainly is not acceptable in mine!

“Fat”, he said, “Your dog is too FAT. He needs to lose weight or he’ll DIE before his time.”

‘D’ along with the ‘F’ word made me sit up and take notice. “Lose the weight”, he said, “and he’ll be with you much longer.”

Enough said, immediately I got home I searched eBay, and ClickBank, for a report about helping your dog lose weight fast. I searched for ‘dog weight’ and ‘dog fat’ and I found ….. tons of huge bags of low calorie dog food and biscuits which I never give my dogs anyway, and absolutely ZILCH in the way of information to help me downsize my dog.

So I ended up searching Google for information about helping my mutt look more macho when the idea suddenly struck me – why don’t I turn all of this information from Google into a low cost information product to sell on eBay and ClickBank? Why not also promote my new infoproduct through eBay Classified Ads and grow a mailing list for products I can recommend later?

Oops, I forgot to say, I wasn’t the only person in the surgery to get a rollicking today, there were three of us with overweight mutts lined up for the exact same treatment …. which set me thinking ….. if three out of three people sitting in the surgery today need help of the kind proposed for my new product, just how many other people might also need it?

So I reckon I’ve found a fabulous new market, one that will help my dog, help other people’s dogs, and could possibly make a fortune for me!

The idea is to write a report and offer it for just a few dollars, and in the back of the report I’ll include affiliate links for other items to interest dog lovers, such as medicines, food and biscuits, holiday kennels, and so on. Think about it, if I sell just one eBook every day at $2 pure profit, that’s $600 plus per year, and that’s before we even start thinking about affiliate commissions.

What does this have to do with you? Well I just wanted to prove how easy it is to find a niche market with countless eager buyers and not one person providing for their needs, no one that I could find anyway!

The moral is to keep your eyes and ears open no matter where you are because ideas are all around you and just one idea is all it really takes to start a profitable business.

Apart from waiting for my vet to throw ideas at me, these are other methods I often use to locate some new niche market for my eBay business and other online ventures:

* Visit forums related to your chosen marketplace, such as dogs, but also including child care, marital problems, expatriate living, debt, and millions more. Find forums by searching Google for “xxx + forum” where xxx represents your chosen market or subject. So for forums frequented by chess players you might search for “chess + forum”.

Google usually returns the biggest and most active forums first on their listings, so note down the address of the first ten or so. Visit them in Google order and study postings by members and definitely, I don’t say maybe, I said definitely, you will encounter problems shared by many members. Study these problems and then look for free or low cost information products to help solve those problems. Look on eBay, look on ClickBank, other places too but those are enough to start with. If you find few or no suitable information products then you should consider writing your own or cobble one together from PLR and public domain text. If along with no suitable information products, you find physical products aplenty, these are the kind of products to promote as an affiliate inside your low-cost, no-cost reports.

* Study niche market publications on newsagents’ shelves, such as baby magazines and investment newspapers. Study various same subject publications that normally sit side by side on the newsagents’ shelves making studying them very easy indeed. Look at the headlines, notice if two or more publications feature one problem or theme which might be construed as applying to the entire niche marketplace. This indicates a problem or theme that you can profit from. So if, for example, you see two or more collectibles magazines focussing on one specific collectible, this could be the perfect product for you to sell on eBay. If two or more publications aimed at guitar players feature a new and revolutionary kind of guitar accessory, then this could be another perfect product for you.

* Watch the telly, listen to the radio, keep your eyes and ears open for problems and trends you might capitalise upon. Think about obesity and the belief that soon the majority of children will be morbidly FAT (that word again), then look for products to help parents reverse the trend.

Think about pension funds going belly up in line with firms going out of business and leaving lifelong employees facing a miserable old age. Now go to eBay, go to ClickBank, is there anything suitable for them to read to help grow their pension pot without outside help? No! Then that’s a perfect infoproduct for you to create, one with mountains of affiliate opportunities to promote on the back end. You could write a short report about alternative investments, for instance, or running a small business on eBay, suggesting both as a means of growing retirement income free from banks and employers. Just be sure to pack the product with links to Amazon books about making money on eBay and growing an affiliate investment portfolio and …..

….. oh I could go on for hours dreaming up new products to sell which would leave me with no time at all to actually promote those products. So I’ll leave you now to do your own research and to find products no one else is providing, all it takes is a few minutes but the rewards can last a lifetime!

Web Design & Search Engine Optimization – A Technique to Find New Business

I stumbled across this method, quite by accident, when researching a potential new businesses web site after a standard call back request to my website. It is surprisingly straightforward and you can effortlessly find people in particular regions, your own town even, who are crying out for your brand of search engine expertise.

The elegance of this means is that it also provides the ammo you need to go to the potential client and show to them why their website is not performing for them nearly as well as it ought to be doing. It will allow you to show them that they are on the search engines and can be discovered, using a search (albeit a very poor and irrelevant one) and that to start driving traffic or to increase traffic to their website will be fairly low-priced (depending on your search engine optimisation rates of course).

Using site: in Google Searches: Google offer several useful search engine optimisation tools for discovering information concerning your web site and the information that it holds on your site, one of them is site: If you carry out a search for site: and add your domain name after, Google will return all of the Internet pages that it has indexed for that domain name, for instance site:amazon.co.uk. To search for your own website simply switch amazon.co.uk with your own domain name. You can also use the www. at the start but, as yet, I have not noticed a great deal of difference in the results. Google does allow you to specify if you want to have the www. on your domain name in it’s results using their webmaster tools. This search tool is intended to allow you to look for for a phrase in a particular site by putting the phrase in front of the site: bit in the search. For instance, a search for fantasy site:amazon.co.uk will search for the word fantasy in Amazons UK web site.

This will be helpful once you have found a website that is in need of search engine optimisation as you can then analyze all of the web pages that Google holds for them.

The Process of finding clients who need your search engine optimisation help is simply this. Go to Google and search for the phrase Untitled Document and then add a region afterward, for example search for Untitled Document London. This will display all web pages inside London that have Untitled Document, by and large in the Title. This shows to me that whoever built the web site has not bothered to fill out the Title Tag for the page and that the page in question is simply ignoring a wholly fine opportunity to get some keywords and key phrases into Google and to be discovered by their market and potential customers.

In my belief, every professional web designer ought to provide a website with at least a basic SEO template, which would involve filling out the Title and META Description (at minimum) so that search results look engaging and present some information when displayed in the Search Engines. Even if they are not on page one for their particular services, at least they will be on page something and not floating around at the bottom with no consequence to their business. Unless of course their business is selling documents titled Untitled, in which case good luck in trying to get that one onto a top result.

Using intitle: in Google Searches: If you would like to narrow this search down, you can use one more of Google’s search tools intitle. As the name suggests this will display all results with a word or phrase in the Page Title of the webpage. So try, in its place, to search for intitle:Untitled Document London. You can mess around with placing quotation marks each side of the first portion and adding your region afterward to make the search more technically correct, this does change the results slightly.

Once you have found a likely target you can now use the first tool (site:) to study the rest of their pages. If they have a long list of Untitled Document you can almost guarantee that they are not receiving a tenth of the hits they ought to be. Providing them swift and noticeable results should be simple. If they have had the website for some time, even better as their domain name will have some age. I have found that once you can show good traffic and the enquiries do increase slightly the next step will be to update their web site as an out of date web site will put a lot of people off. This is all leading to further business and another addition onto a Christmas card list for you.

This method will return a lot of old sites and in all probability some personal websites but there will be plenty of businesses in there that are plainly not aware of the opportunity they are wasting and the potential new business that they are passing up by not being noticeable (Using this method, for my home rural town I have discovered a solicitors, two nurseries and a company providing student letting, all would be fine leads, and in the first three pages of Google results).

In the end they will thank you as their hits and inquiries grow and you may get a decent long term client out of it.

Your job now is to persuade them of that, good luck.

#1 Best Work at Home Moms Web Host – How to Find It?

You made the decision that your most important job was to be a full time mom to your children and give them as much of you as possible. But now you want to start working from home so you can be with your children and earn some additional income to help the family finances.

You decide to build a website so you start looking for the right web host for your site. You go to Google and search for “web hosting” and you get 153,000,000 pages. Wow! Overwhelming! How do you find the right one?

Let’s set search criteria.

As a work at home mom, what do you never have enough of other than money? — How about time?

With the value of your time as a major consideration, time savings should be the driving factor in evaluating and finding a web host.

To make the most effective use of your time, you need a web host that will provide:

  • A world class research tool to assist you in researching your market and the associate keywords. This tool helps you make certain that your market niche is large enough to support you, but not so large that you cannot compete with the big websites. Your largest waste of time could be several months spent building a website that did not have a chance of success.
  • Detailed instructions in written or video format on how to go through the process of building a successful website. This saves you hours of floundering around on your own trying to figure it out.
  • A web page builder that is easy to use. You want one where you fill in the blanks and it builds the page for you. This saves you from having to learn HTML programming.
  • A tool that evaluates each page you build and tells you what to change to make the page rank high on Google search results. Why waste time building a web page that will not rank well on Google and not bring visitors to your website?
  • A service that automatically builds your site map (listing of all your web pages). This is necessary to assist Google in ranking your web pages. Doing this yourself eats up your time.
  • A service that automatically notifies Google that you have updated or changed a page on your website so Google can come to your website and evaluate your page. This accelerates the listing of your page on Google search results. You can do this yourself, but again, it consumes your time.
  • Traffic analysis tools to tell you about your visitors, what keywords they used to find your website, and other data that you need to increase visitors to your site.
  • Responsive support so you don’t waste your time trying to find the answer to your question.
  • And finally, you want a webhost that will provide quality uptime hosting for your website. This is what other hosts do, but what about all the other time saving features that you need?

Does this sound like an impossible task? You think to yourself, “There is no way I will find a web host that does all this”.

I thought the same thing when I started looking for the ideal web host which would allow me to accomplish the maximum in the very limited time I have available to work on my online business. Since I have a full time day job, I can work on my online business only a couple of hours each day. Thankfully, I found Site Build It. I have used Site Build It to build four successful websites, and I plan to build more.

In my opinion, Site Build It is the most work at home mom friendly web host since it will allow you to work very efficiently. In reality, it is much more than a web host. It is an all in one solution for building a successful online work at home mom business.

Site Build It provides a free eBook written by Site Build It work at home moms. This eBook explains how to use Site Build It and succeed. Download your copy of this eBook now and start building your successful work at home mom business.

Find the Number 1 Home Based Business

Finding the number 1 home based business isn’t easy. In fact, it’s different for everyone. Everyone has different goals, strengths, and timelines. Do you want a business you can use to generate additional income, or are you looking to replace your current job at some point? Do you mind putting the hours, or do you work too much already and are trying t spend more time with your family and friends? What type of exit strategy are you looking for? Do you want to sell your business in the future, or will you pass it on to your relatives when you decide to retire? Maybe you have bigger plans and want to you’re your company beyond the home based realm and take it public at some point.

All of these questions have an impact on how you find the number 1 home based business. What may be the perfect business for you may not work so well for someone else. You may be simply looking to supplement your income by a few hundred or a thousand dollars a month by working extra hours here and there. If that’s the case, you’ll have very different needs than someone who’s planning on having a full time business and income to replace their current employment.

There are many good candidates for a home based business. Your number 1 will be the one that fits your individual needs and strengths the best. Here are some great ones that have been well proven throughout the years, in no particular order.

1 – Affiliate Marketing – Affiliate marketing is a favorite of marketers everywhere. The affiliate marketer sells other company’s products and/or services and is paid a commission or finder’s fee for doing so. The advantages are that you have no inventory or customer support requirements. You’ll have nothing to store, no tech support or customer service phone calls to field, and no shipping to worry about. It’s perfect for the person who wants to operate out of their house and have very little overhead.

There are of course negatives to affiliate marketing. Depending upon what you’re selling, you may not make as much money sale as if you were selling your own products.(however, for some information products, the affiliate often makes more than the content owner) You also have no control over your right to sell the products when you’re operating as an affiliate.

Any individual affiliate, affiliate program, or product can be terminated at any time. This can be a real pain, not to mention expensive, if you devoted a large amount of resources to developing a website and marketing campaign around the product or program in question. It’s also frustrating to watch as a nice income stream evaporates, and you can do nothing to stop it, except another product, or program and hoe it performs as well as, or better than the old one.

Another disadvantage of an affiliate business, is that you can lose large sums of money through your advertising and marketing efforts if you’re not careful. It’s the same with many other businesses as well. There are many free or inexpensive ways to promote, but some marketers find that they achieve their best and quickest results using pay per click (PPC) advertising. The most widely known example of PPC is Google’s AdWords program.

2 – eBay or Other Online Auction Business – Here again is a way to generate fairly large amounts of money if you’re so inclined. eBay and other auction sites have large amounts of traffic that you leverage into a nice income and brand recognition. The upside is that there is practically unlimited income potential. The downside is that there are few barriers to entry. Anyone with a pulse can start a home based eBay business, and it costs little or nothing to do so.

While those attributes could be viewed as advantages, just know you have over 240 million potential competitors that are registered eBay users. Of those, 83 million are active users, so starting an eBay business gives you access to a huge potential market. Over 600 million items were sold on eBay in 2007. Some of that could have been your merchandise. In fact there were 532,000 eBay stores in 2007, and well over 120,000 people earn their full time income from the on-line auction pioneer, so you could be next.

Those are two of the most popular types and it could be argued that simply by virtue of their sheer numbers, eBay stores ranks as the number 1 home based business. However there are countless others, from consulting to landscaping firms that can be run out of one’s home. Actually firms such as consulting readily lend themselves to being run from home.

With the advent of the Internet and other modern communications systems, there is little reason to have a traditional office. In fact, keeping overhead low is one of the keys to success in your business, and a traditional office is one of the largest sources of overhead in many businesses. Eliminating the office adds directly to your bottom line, which is the point of having your business in the first place.

How to Find the Best Digital Marketing Agency

In order to find the best digital marketing agency, first, we need to understand “what is digital marketing”, “will digital marketing benefit your business” and answer the question “how do I get more leads for my business?” – which should be the purpose of any marketing.

What is a Digital Marketing Agency?

The dictionary definition of Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium. So simple to summarise in one sentence, yet it can be a complicated process to get right and to ensure that all of your digital marketing is working together, not as silo activities. This is where the expertise and experience of the best digital marketing agencies can be hugely beneficial.

Traditional advertising, newspapers and paper directories, such as Yellow Pages, are increasingly less effective for businesses. Whilst a few years ago people would go to a computer to search for a product or service, nowadays people are connected to the internet all day, every day and “live online”. Looking for information, a product or service is as quick and simple as searching on a laptop or computer at work or picking up their mobile telephone or tablet. Digital marketing focuses on getting your information, products and services in front of people when they are looking online. The best digital agencies understand the buying process of your products and services and ensure that your information is prominent to the potential customer at the appropriate time. In the digital marketing world, the various stages of the buying process i.e. research, consideration and purchase are called “micro-moments” and the very best digital marketing agency will present the relevant information, service or product at the targeted time in the buying process.

Whilst some digital marketing agencies will also create and manage traditional advertising or business marketing, such as newspaper advertising, specialist digital marketing agencies will concentrate on online marketing as opposed to “marketing companies” who commonly concentrate on TV, radio and print marketing.

Regardless if your business is business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C), digital marketing can be a fast, often instant, and reliable way of getting leads into your business and driving up revenue. The very best digital marketing agencies will manage all of the digital advertising based on return on investment (ROI) ensuring the leads generated are at a cost that makes business sense and increases profit levels. Digital marketing will benefit your business and answers the question “how do I get more leads for my business”?

Digital marketing, sometimes referred to as website marketing, can be broken down into a number of important features and services:

SEO Services

Search engine optimisation, most commonly abbreviated to “SEO”, is the process of getting your website found on search engines like Google when people make a search relevant to your business, services or products.

Regardless if your website is e-Commerce or selling services it will drive leads and sales into your business if it is found for the search terms people use (often referred to as “keywords”) to look for them in Google.

SEO requires experience and understanding of how Google reads your website. What messages and information you want Google to read for a webpage or website and knowing where to place that information so search engines can find it. A good SEO company will have a proven track record of ranking websites high in the search results.

SEO works best when the proven methods of obtaining rankings are applied in conjunction with latest trends that are driving traffic. An example of this is the “near me” phenomenon, which has seen a 150% growth in the last 12 months, where mobile phone users are adding “near me” to their search query i.e. “SEO Company near me”. These customers are looking to buy and buy from a local service or product supplier.

Although SEO can be a stand-alone service, it is most effective when combined with PPC, social media and reputation marketing. SEO is also the cornerstone of effective PPC, social media and reputation management campaigns.

Pay Per Click

Pay Per Click (PPC) often referred to as “Google Advertising” or “online advertising” is where you position adverts at the top of the search results for specific search terms. These search terms can be the words people use when in the “research” phase of making a purchase or targeted at the “buying keywords” when potential customers are looking to buy.

Although your advert, depending on your budget, can be shown every time a search is made, you only pay when an internet user clicks on your advert and is taken to your website or calls you direct from the search results page meaning you only pay when you get a click from a potential customer hence the name for this form of marketing of Pay Per Click (often abbreviated to PPC).

How much you pay for each click is determined by a few factors. The “cost per click” (abbreviated to CPC) is determined by the quality and relevancy of the advert to the search term being used and the relevancy of the page on your website that the potential customer land on. These factors contribute to your overall “quality score”. The higher your quality score, the less you pay per click and less you pay per lead into your business.

In the UK, Google has the vast majority of search traffic and most of your budget should be placed their, however, you will not want to miss the smaller, yet still considerable potential for customers from search engines like Microsoft’s Bing platform, and a small part of the budget should be allocated to other search engines. Also, the very best PPC management companies will also discuss spreading your PPC budget over a number of campaigns aimed at different parts of the customer journey. A small part of the budget should be allocated to the research stage of the buying process when people are using broad search terms to find information, a small part of the budget when people are searching for yours, your competitors or market leaders company name. The majority of the budget when potential customers are using search terms directly related to making a purchase and lastly, a small part of the budget to re-market (show your advertising to people who have shown an interest in your services or products by visiting your website) to capture and drive up conversions from the customers previously advertised too.

The best PPC Agency will be a Google Premier Partner. A Google Premier Partner status indicates that the company has a proven track record in delivering high-quality campaigns, which generate good competitive/low CPC’s and deliver high and positive ROI’s. The very best PPC agency will have a robust PPC management process in place to quickly react and capitalise on changes in the PPC campaigns of your competitors.

Unlike SEO, that can take some time to be fully effective, Pay Per Click is instant in the fact that as soon as your campaigns are live they can be generating leads for your business.

PPC is highly effective when carried out in unison with SEO. A well-optimised website will improve the quality score of your Google advertising campaigns resulting in a reduced “cost per click” meaning you get more leads for your budget.

Social Media Marketing

Social Media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter are now legitimate places for a business to attract leads. Facebook has over 38 MILLION active and regular users in the UK and the number is anticipated to rise to over 42 MILLION by 2020. Regardless if your business sells to consumers or other businesses, your potential customers are on Facebook and using it often.

Facebook is excellent at raising awareness during the customers “research” stage, reminding them of your services or products during the “consideration” stage and putting your specific products in front of potential customers at the “buying” stage. With such a large audience and the flexibility to target customers throughout the buying process, Facebook can be a good avenue to generate leads and sales and to deliver a great return on investment.

A good digital marketing agency will have a proven track record in delivering highly effective Facebook advertising campaigns. The very best digital marketing agencies will be able to demonstrate the conversion rate and cost per lead of your social media marketing.

Again, social media marketing and specifically Facebook marketing can be carried out as a stand-alone activity however it works so much better when combined with SEO and/or PPC. When a potential customer visits your website their computer is marked as having visited. This then allows you to target the user of that computer, who has shown an interest in your products or services.

Reputation Management

When considering making a purchase, a potential customer will scour the internet to find feedback and reviews from previous customers. Your online marketing and sales can live or die by the reviews for your business, services or products. Ensuring that positive reviews are easy to find and that any negative feedback is managed well, can be a huge benefit to your conversion rate.

Digital marketing companies call this “reputation management” or “online reputation management” however, in reality, it is creating systems to generate customer reviews and customer feedback ensuing positive customer satisfaction is captured and easy to find for potential customers.

Many businesses are concerned with allowing the public the ability to openly provide feedback. You cannot please all of the people all of the time, and companies worry that a bad review will have a negative impact on their business. Firstly, if someone is determined to leave a bad review for your business they will find a platform to do so and there are 1000’s of platforms to choose from. It is better to have control of where customers are encouraged to leave a review. Secondly, a poor or bad review, if managed well, can be a positive for your business. Engaging with a bad review highlights that you care about feedback and subsequently, you care about your customers. One well managed bad review can be as good for your business ten good reviews.

A good digital marketing company will use one of the handful of recognised review platform and provide the tools and means of allowing you to capture, manage and respond to customer reviews.

Hard to Find Phone Numbers – Computer and Internet Retailer

This alphabetical list contains a lot of hard to find phone numbers of Computer and Internet Related stuff. This is a basic rough list which I’ll try to update periodically. It’s not perfect as I’m sure I left plenty of companies out and all the phone numbers are US phone numbers with the exception of TuCows, which is a Canadian number and Logitech’s remote control number (They rule!). You may need to put a “1” in front of the Toll Free numbers where applicable. I tried to give customer service contact numbers as much as possible and used the latest phone numbers I could find:

Home Based Business Opportunities Online – Find a Home Based Opportunity Online That Works for You

Basically, there are several types of home based business opportunities online including affiliate marketing, web publishing and offering freelancing work. You might have heard some feedbacks saying that all these three business opportunities have the potential to earn thousands of dollars on a regularly basis but you would ask yourself the following questions – “Are all of these business opportunities really work for me?” and “Should I choose all of these opportunities in order to build a profitable internet business?”

Don’t mix up “enthusiastic” with “greed”. You would probably like to try all methods available which have the possibility to help you earn lucrative profits. How could you possible find an internet opportunity that really works? Here’s how – follow these 3 steps as follows:

Step 1: Engage with the right kind of people

As a rule of thumb, you need to mix with the right kind of people who have similar interests and objectives. You can do it offline – by calling up friends or people who have similar interests for a think-thank session. This method is hard to do since it’s hard to meet people who are willing to spend their time sharing their experiences especially you’re a “nobody”. The easiest to find the right kind of people is via internet marketing forums. Be a member of one internet marketing forum and start engaging with other forum members – newbies or non-newbies.

Step 2: Swap ideas related to home based business opportunities online with others

From the internet forum, you can discuss or swap ideas that are related to such opportunities with other forum members – particularly those who are willing to share their experiences in form of personal journal-like forum threads. You would probably learn from their feedbacks before you initiate your plan on working on those ideas.

Step 3: Choose the right home based business based on its ROI

Once you’ve tested all the possible opportunities, choose the one which suits you most. This involves tracking your results – basically, you choose an opportunity that can produce mediocre earnings at the beginning. You can also set up your own target before you finalize which internet business opportunity that you prefer – choose one which has the highest Return on Investment (ROI), here’s the formula to calculate ROI:

(Profit-Total Cost/Total Cost) x 100%

Personally, I would suggest that you choose a home based opportunity online that has more than 5-10% of ROI. After that, try to leverage your business by outsourcing certain tasks to other freelancers.

I hope that you’ll be able to build a profitable online home based business by following these basic steps above. Good luck!

How to Find the Right MLM Business Social Media Networks

Social media networking is an integral part of any organization. There are dozens of social media outlets online today. Which ones will be effective for a given business, is almost anyone’s guess. However, it does not require tedious effort to find them. Not all will be useful for an MLM business and this material shall send some light on the subject matter. If you’re looking to expand your marketing or just starting a new business, this content is for you.

Social media by the audience

To find the best networks for your MLM business, you need to know where your audience heads for information. Social media provides fresh access to info over a given week. New material is published and released on sites like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook faster than other channels. Except for blog and article posts, the hosting site has the First release rights. This means your fans and prospects can gain access to your releases a lot faster than other forms.

Knowledge is power for every business, so if you know where your audience gathers at, it’s easy to cultivate a successful environment in that site. It’s easier anyways than trying to build one on a cold social site. This doesn’t mean that you should over populate your timeline with irrelevant content. It means that you now have access and the ability to send targeted content to a specific area.

Content that works for you

Great social media posts require time and execution. They are designed with a singular goal in mind, to bring traffic to your site. Every major social networking site offers a different approach in communicating your messages. It is recommended to learn the platform before launching a campaign. There are third party vendors that can help you schedule post releases, it never hurts to spend some real time in the site itself.

Your MLM business messages are one part if the equation. Your live interaction is another part that can lead to growth and success. Interacting with others on the social sites can mean personal branding and favorable results. Many people automate social postings and never interact with others. The lack of interaction can hurt your business; people want live operators. Do not rely simply on automation to achieve results. Mix up your content posts for a diverse package. Do not forget to recycle old content and share it. Most people miss the initial release of a post.
